1. Acceptance
By creating an account or using AutoEzi, you accept these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
2. The service
AutoEzi is a platform for recording and keeping a vehicle's maintenance history: a digital service book where records belong to the vehicle. The service is provided by Paulo Pereira (acting as an individual).
3. Your account
You are responsible for keeping your credentials safe and for all activity on your account. You agree to provide accurate information and to register only vehicles and data you are entitled to handle.
4. Acceptable use
You may not use AutoEzi for unlawful purposes, to look up vehicle data without a legitimate basis, or in any way that harms the service or other users.
5. Data obtained by license plate
Plate auto-fill uses an external source (InfoMatrÃcula). This data is provided "as is", may be incomplete or incorrect, and is only a suggestion. You must always review and confirm the data. AutoEzi is not responsible for the accuracy of information obtained from third parties.
6. Records, ownership and vehicle history
The technical history (interventions, dates, mileage, garage) belongs to the vehicle's record, not to you. As a result:
- when you sell or transfer the vehicle, the technical history may travel with the car to the next owner;
- when you delete your account, your personal data and personal layer (costs, notes, files) are erased, but the vehicle's technical history is kept in anonymised form, with no link to you, as part of the vehicle's own record.
By using the service and creating records, you accept this anonymised retention of the technical history. Your personal layer always remains private and yours.
7. Share links
You can create links to show a vehicle's technical history. You are responsible for who you share them with. These links show technical data only, never your personal layer.
8. No professional advice
Reminders (inspection, services) are an aid and do not replace your legal obligations or the manufacturer's maintenance plan. Always confirm official dates and requirements.
9. Availability and liability
The service is provided "as is", with no guarantee of uninterrupted or error-free availability. To the extent permitted by law, Paulo Pereira is not liable for losses arising from use of the service. You are advised to keep copies of your important documents.
10. Suspension and termination
We may suspend or close accounts that breach these Terms. You can delete your account at any time in Settings.
11. Changes
We may update these Terms. The revised version will be posted on this page with the new date.
12. Governing law
These Terms are governed by Portuguese law, and the Portuguese courts have jurisdiction.
